Day 2: Baguio City Tour - Philippine Military Academy and Strawberry Farm

Botanical Garden 
The Baguio Botanical Garden is known as the Igorot Village , it showcases the native houses of the different Cordillera tribes. Tourists can frequently take pictures with the Igorot tribesmen dressed in their traditional native dress. 
If you want to pose with the natives, make sure that you're able to communicate with them about the payment fee first, before taking your photos--basta ako di ako nagpapicture sa kanila ...ang mahal kung sumingil hahaha). 

Philippine Military Academy
Baguio City has plenty of fascinating and stunning locations to visit, the chief among which is the Philippine Military Academy. It is located at the at Fort Del Pilar, Baguio City, about 20-30 minutes from the city proper. A place symbolizing glory and discipline. 
From the gate, the road will take you uphill where you can see a monument of PMA's hero, Gen. Gregorio del Pilar. PMA compounds is also called " Fort Del Pilar" in memory of the young General who died in Tirad Pass.
Then the road will bring you the "Cadets Circle" where you would find "super-sized" cadet cap sword, sword casing and gloves.
The Borromeo Field. This field has cultivated and developed the officers of our country for the past generations. This field is the witness to the hardships and pains that every single cadet went through during their stay in PMA. This fields is also their witness to their glory of graduating from PMA. Courage, Integrity, Loyalty.
Strawberry Farm
Baguio City is known in the Philippines as the central area where beautiful strawberries can be harvested. Thus, it should be part of any visitor's itinerary to try the strawberry picking activity in La Trinidad, Benguet.
Strawberry picking in Baguio is absolutely the coolest and the most enjoyable way activity a person could experience in the place. As you'll be the one to harvest those strawberries of your choice and possibly you will definitely eat while picking some... lol
There are lots of farms where strawberries grow in Baguio City but the commonly known place of harvesting them is at La Trinidad's Strawberry Farm. La Trinidad is a neighboring town of Baguio City which is the Capital of Benguet Province. Aside from strawberry picking, you can see lots of vendors that do sell different kinds of delicacies made out of strawberries outside the farm.
