Where To Go On Winter Vacation

One of the best things about taking a vacation in the winter is getting away from cold and inclement weather. For travelers in North America, that often means heading to South Florida or somewhere in the Caribbean to take advantage of plentiful sunshine and warm trade winds. Selecting a destination, however, can be tough. With so many beautiful islands within easy reach of the United States and Canada, finding that dream vacation can be daunting.

For travelers who simply can't decide on which tropical destination to head to, the answer is to book a cruise. Whether you only have time for a few days or can take as long as two weeks to explore the myriad islands in the Caribbean, cruising is the way to go as you will be able to stop at multiple ports of call without having to tote luggage and arrange for multiple flights, all of which can become quite expensive.

Imagine traveling to destinations like St. Thomas and St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands or exploring places like Tortola and Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. With pristine white sand beaches and gorgeous turquoise waters, these friendly locations are a small slice of paradise. For a bit of adventure with a slight foreign flavor, try ports in Curacao, St. Martaan or enjoy the laid back atmosphere of Jamaica. Most cruises depart and return to South Florida, so you can even extend your vacation with a few days in Miami and environs.

  2. Planning for a vacation is very necessary and one of the most essential things is to choose the right location. Last winter when we were confused where to go one of my friends suggested me for a trip to Ireland. We did a little planning according to the climate of Ireland in winters, so we packed an umbrella, waterproof jacket, and rain boots as there is chilly temperature and rain during the month of December and January. We booked for Car rental Belfast from Dan Dooley prior as we have a lot of luggage with us and we also want to have a road trip in car for one week. We want to explore different places, so we rented for the car in advance and booked for an apartment to where we can stay. For the coming January we are again planning to go to Ireland as we have not visited all the places.
