Tupi, South Cotabato, known as the fruits, flowers and vegetables Capital of the South Cotabato will be celebrating its 9th Agten Tufi Festival starting this September 4-11, 2018. Agten Tufi, an Blaan etymology meaning “beautiful or bountiful Tupi”. Considering its cultural history, Tupi (tufi), along with Koronadal (kolon datal), Polomolok (flom molok) and Tampakan (tamfaken) derived its name from Blaan origins.
One of the highlights of the of Agten Tufi Festival 2018 is the FRUITS EAT ALL YOU CAN this coming September 5 & 11, at 3pm.
Agten Tufi Festival, a thanksgiving celebration of Beauty and Bounty, is a various ethnic and cultural dances featuring Tupi as the province’s flower, fruit and vegetable basket and a place where various cultures abode.
