As an OFW sa Friday lang talaga yung time para mamasyal and
we decided to go to Souq Waqif with Apol, and Jerome. It was around 4 pm
when we left our accommodation and met Leah at the Souq Waqif. We reached there
around 5 pm. Dahil gutom na kumain muna
kami bago mamasyal at maglibot-libot.
The Souq Waqif situated
behind the Corniche, off Grand Hamed Street. The only
traditional souq to remain in the Gulf, it’s now a delightful streets
where visitors can bargain and purchase products including spices, garments,
souvenirs, handicrafts and paintings by Qatari artists. There are numerous
traditional cafes and restaurants and traditional shisha lounges.
