Staycation at City Garden Suites – Manila

Last month I won an overnight stay in a Hotel with buffet breakfast and massage for free sponsored by City Garden Suites.

Manila, is the capital city of the Philippines is one of the busiest cities in the country. Being a commercial and business hub, the city offers a wide array of hotels and accommodations to stay. Last January 19, 2019 I was able to stay at one of mid-class hotels along Mabini Street, Ermita, Manila, City Garden Suites – Manila.

City Garden Suites – Manila is a 142-room hotel is committed to providing perfect leisure travelers seeking a home away from home. Its prime location is located just around 10 minute walk to the world-renowned Manila Bay, the historic Rizal Park, Manila Ocean Park and other business, shopping and entertainment establishments are just few meters.

Checking-in

I arrived at the hotel at exactly 2PM. Upon entering the hotel, were hospitably welcomed by the hotel staff and greeted with warm smile. It is very spacious and has a lot of couches where guests could lounge while waiting to check-in. I then proceeded to the front desk I noticed there was already a line for the check-in/check-out counters. When it was my turn, I gave my reservation details to the receptionist. After about 15 minutes, I met the Marketing Assistant and he gave some souvenirs and handled the room keys and ushered to our room by their friendly and helpful staff

One Deluxe Room

Upon entering the room, I was amazed. The room smells fresh and clean. The room I stayed  was equipped with reliable Wi-Fi access, Cable TV, telephone with bathroom extension, tub/ shower bath combination, hairdryer, in-room safe, individually-controlled air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee or tea-making facility, and bathroom essentials/toiletries. The beds and their linens were so soft and clean. It is joined to one side by a small bed table with a telephone. It has fresh clean white sheets, hug fluffy pillows and comforters. 

Toilet and bath, clean and organized from the sink to the water closet, to the shower area with rain head shower feature, they are all clean.

Buffet Breakfast is composed of different meat, fish, vegetables and chicken dishes.  There were also a variety of pastries, fruits and desserts. There is also omelette area where you could request how your omelette should be done.

An overnight stay in this comfortable and cozy hotel suite is a fab treat. Checking in, and checking out were fast and hassle-free. Service was friendly and thorough. The staffs were hospitable and welcoming, always willing to answer questions and satisfy requests whenever possible.
